Account setting / tour apply

It depends on which country you want to become a tour guide in. If the country does not require a tour guide license, anyone can apply! However, if your country/region legally requires a tour guide permit, it will be checked during your application process.

No payment is required when registering with Gtrip. Only a 15% service fee will be charged upon successful tour application and guest booking.

Unfortunately the weather is something nobody can control, and it can happen that before your tour the weather predictions are not looking good. We recommend you to get in touch with your guest and discuss alternatives such as rescheduling the tour to another day or time, or cancelling the tour. . As a host, it's up to you to make the decision on whether or not you think the tour could happen looking at the weather forecast. In case you think the tour can happen, and the guest disagrees, the cancellation policy applies and no refund will be provided to the guest, and you will receive your host payment. In case you both agree to cancel the tour, please cancel the tour in the system and the guest will be provided with a full refund.

If your guests are no able to attend the booking, they are recommended to reschedule for another date and time. A booking can be rescheduled up to 72 hours before the starting time of the experience. If your guests cannot find a suitable alternative date or time, they need to cancel the booking. Depending on the timing of the cancellation, guests receive either a refund / travel credit (whatever they prefer), or the booking is not refunded (check cancellation policy for details). If a guest informs you directly about a potential cancellation, and asks you to cancel it, please make sure that it is the guest's own responsibility to cancel the booking. Without a formal cancellation, no refunds can be provided.

Visit your bookings History by “Dashboard”. In your booking page, you'll see a list of your bookings. Please check the STATUS of each booking. There are 4 possible statuses: [ pending ] This means that your booking has been paid and your guide is reviewing it. Please wait for your tour confirmation within 24hs. . [ Completed ] Your booking is 100% confirmed! Please enjoy. [ Cancelling ] The cancellation of your requested order is currently being arranged. [ Canceled ] Your booking has been canceled. The refund will be credited back to your credit card after 14 business days.

You can check the Tour Booking Page on your Dashboard to confirm the guest's bookings. Of course, we will also send you an email reminder.

We understand that sometimes guests may run late. In case this happens we encourage you to contact the guest and try to find a solution (e.g. rescheduling the tour). If rescheduling is not possible and, because of the delay, it is not possible to conduct the tour in the time left, we classify this situation as a last minute guest cancellation. You will receive your full payment for the experience (unless you have agreed otherwise with the guest and notified the Withlocals team).

Email notifications are sent out to your inbox for every new or transferred booking - make sure you mark emails as not spam if you are getting them in your spam folder, or contact us if the emails are not coming in at all

You can modify your tour in the dashboard ->Tour -> My Tour. You are able to edit, remove and control the on/off.

Payment related issues

Gtrip will charge 15% of the total price of each tour as a handling fee

The invoice will be sent to you by email.

After the completion of the journey, you can submit a withdrawal request on the Withdrawal page of your Dashboard. The funds will be arranged for transfer within 7-14 business days after the request, depending on the processing time of the bank.

With Paypal payment there is no additional fee applied for you. In case of a bank transfer in some occasions the local bank can apply a transfer fee (to cover currency conversion for example). Please consult your local bank for more information.
